1 cpl increase at the pumps this week

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2021:

  • The price of gasoline will increase by 1.0 cents per litre (cpl);
  • The price of both furnace oil and diesel will increase by 3.0 cpl; and
  • Propane prices will increase by 0.5 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; will decrease by 0.3 cpl for Island Petroleum; and there is no change for Superior Propane, Kenmac Energy, or Noonan Petroleum.

 

At self-serve outlets, prices for regular unleaded gasoline will range from 114.9 to 116.0 cpl and prices for diesel will range from 122.7 to 123.9 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 91.5 cpl.

Propane prices will range from 86.3 to 86.8 cpl.
