Another Dip at the Pumps

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, March 26, 2021:

  • The price of gasoline will decrease by 2.0 cents per litre (cpl);
  • The price of both furnace oil and diesel will decrease by 4.0 cpl; and
  • Propane prices will increase by 1.5 cpl for Superior Propane; will decrease by 1.8 cpl for both Kenmac Energy and Noonan Petroleum; by 1.0 cpl for Island Petroleum; and by 0.6 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing.

Including taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 123.5 to 124.7 cpl and prices for diesel will range from 123.3 to 124.4 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil is 92.0 cpl.

Propane prices will range from 87.5 to 89.2 cpl.
