Islanders will bring the Canadian flag to life this Canada Day as the City of Charlottetown will be hosting a “living flag” at Victoria Park.

All Islanders all welcome but must wear red or white to take part in the event which starts @ 11.  Members of HMCS Queen Charlotte and HMCS Charlottetown will also partake.

To make it a little sweeter the first 400 people to arrive will receive a free Canada 150 commemorative t-shirt.

The national record is 3,300 people which was set in 2011 by both the cities of Victoria & Winnipeg.
