Over the last few years there’s been a few stories of rare lobsters caught by East Coast lobster fishers that have since gone viral. However, one caught recently off the coast of New Brunswick is more sad than neat or weird.
Karissa Lindstrand says she was banding a lobster when she noticed it had a Pepsi can imprinted on it’s claw.

Unlike the other rare lobsters that have gone viral this one has sparked a conversation about litter in the ocean.
Some believe the lobster grew around a can that was at the bottom of the ocean, while others claim the logo came from a Pepsi box 😢 https://t.co/KGHgYEpQ9L

The Pepsi can lobster isn’t “cool” or “neat” it’s an abomination most likely caused by pollution.
