PEI’s Josh Currie scores first NHL goal

It’s the dream of many Canadian hockey players to not only get the chance to play in the NHL but to score a goal on what may be the most important nights in hockey; Saturdays nights, on Hockey Night of Canada.  That was the case for PEI’s Josh Currie.  Josh is a Charlottetown native and former Summerside Western Captial.

He played his first game for the Edmonton Oilers last week, accruing 3 hits and a blocked shot.  But his third game is where he realized a dream.  Currie suited up Saturday night and scored his first, of many, NHL goals.
