3cpl Increase at the pumps
The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum prices effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, April, 9, 2021:
- The price of gasoline will increase by 3.0 cents per litre (cpl);
- The price of both furnace oil and diesel will decrease by 1.1 cpl; and
- Propane prices will decrease by 2.7 cpl for Superior Propane; by 1.6 cpl for Island Petroleum; by 1.0 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; and there is no change in price for both Kenmac Energy and Noonan Petroleum.
Including taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 127.0 to 128.1 cpl and prices for diesel will range from 122.0 to 123.2 cpl.
The maximum price for furnace oil is 90.8 cpl.
Propane prices will range from 86.3 to 87.6 cpl.
