DESCRIPTION:The Harvey Moore Wildlife Sanctuary will be the setting for Southeast Environmental Association’s 3rd Annual Winter Frolic Fundraiser taking place on Saturday\, February 16th\, 11am-2pm. \nThe family-fun event is hoping to draw a big crowd and will include:\n• Beautiful Belgian\, horse-drawn sleigh rides\, by MacLeod’s Sleigh Rides\,\n• An opportunity to try out snowshoeing with equipment provided by Eastern Region Sport & Recreation Council\n• A chance to try your hand at axe throwing with Axes\, Eh?\, and\n• To check out a winter survival and shelter building demonstration by the great students of Holland College Wildlife Conservation Technology\n• Tree tapping and maple syrup taffy making – Mmmmmmm\n• Bonfire to cook s’mores and hotdogs \nAdditional activities include:\n• Artisans on Main member demos in a heated tent\n• Kid’s Games and Krafting Korner\n• Photo booth with nature arch and backdrop\n• Guided nature tours and bird watching with spotting scopes\n• Learning how to identify animal tracks in the snow\n• An ‘Animals of PEI’ display hosted by Fish and Wildlife PEI\n• A story walk with Montague Rotary Library\n• The chance to win in a 50/50 draw\n• and much more! \nChili\, hotdogs\, s’mores\, hot apple cider\, and hot chocolate will all be available for purchase. \nAdmission: Adult – $12\, Under 12 – $7\, and Family – $35 (4 max) each additional family member $5. \nSEA Members: $5 discount \n
