SUMMARY:The Newcomer Experience--A One Book One Island Program
DESCRIPTION:One Book One Island has returned to PEI libraries. This year’s selected book\, Ru by Kim Thúy\, features the themes of immigration and the re-telling of personal experiences. On May 3\, at 10:30 a.m. the Confederation Centre Public Library will celebrate OBOI and the newcomer experience. Join us at the library to hear personal experiences of newcomers and enjoy videos from the Canadian Museum of Immigration’s digital storytelling gallery that tell stories of the diverse immigration experience.
