SUMMARY:Triple P Parenting Seminars
DESCRIPTION:My name is Alex MacDonald and I am a 4th year Psychology student at UPEI. I am organizing three parenting seminars for the month of February for all dads and moms of children aged 2-12 who are looking to build better relationships with their children\, raise confident children\, and reduce stress. Triple P is an international parenting program that gives dads and moms the tools they need to feel confident in their skills as a parent. These seminars are open to anyone who cares for children aged 2-12– whether they be a father\, mother\, grandfather\, grandmother\, or any other caregiver. These caregivers are welcome to come to this 90-minute seminar where they can learn strategies to promote good behaviour\, help build independence\, and help their children strive for success. Seminars will take place at the Murphy’s Community Centre in Charlottetown. These sessions are free\, and childcare is provided.
