DESCRIPTION:The West Point Volunteer Fire Departments 18th Annual Show n Shine Car Show takes place Sunday\, June 9th at the West Point Harbourside Center. The show runs from 12 – 4 pm with registration beginning at 10 am. Cars\, trucks\, motorcycles\, snowmobiles\, antique tractors\, and transport trucks. Open to all makes and models\, old and new with prizes for all classes. There will also be a canteen running all day serving hand cut fries! \nAll funds from this event help the fire department purchase equipment to help serve our community and keep our firefighters safe. \n

DESCRIPTION:As dog owners and animal lovers\, we decided to celebrate our puppies 1st birthdays by hosting a fundraiser and afternoon of great food and company at Trisha’s home in Belfast\, PE. All friendly dogs of all ages and their owners and friends are welcome to attend the event from 1-3pm. (PLEASE NOTE: Children under the age of 16 will not be invited to attend. Sorry for any inconvenience.) \n  \nThere will be a free BBQ\, put on by Chuckwagon Farm Market and BBQ Pit (vegan and gluten-free options will be available.) Along with meeting all the dogs and their owners and friends\, there will be a silent auction and 50/50 draw with all proceeds being donated to SpayAid PEI. This program assists in making the costs of having your pet spayed or neutered more affordable\, in hopes of reducing the number of unwanted pet litters that is contributing to the overwhelming number of animals becoming stray\, homeless and abandoned on PEI \n

DESCRIPTION:The game is at 4PM in Cornwall at the Terry Fox Field and Your Island Mariners will be taking on the Southern NB Ducks.\nTerry was a former Owner of the PEI Privateers Seniors Men’s Team\, and every year we would have a “Pink Game”\, and we used it as an event to help spread awareness and help provide some funds from our event to donate towards PEI Cancer Society. Players and coaches will be dressed in Pink throughout the game in support of Terry and Cancer Awareness.\nAt the event we will have food and some beverages for purchase\, and admission will be $5 for anyone over the age of 12. Under 12 gets in for free. We will also have a donation box at the front gate that will also be used as a donation to the PEI Cancer Society \n
