DESCRIPTION:The Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island will hold its 31st annual Open House on Saturday\, September 28\, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. \nMembers of the public are invited to attend this free and fun family event where they can see all kinds of demonstrations and exhibits. View a painted horse and cow; see different dog breeds during the Parade of Dog Breeds; visit some farm animals; learn how to dress for surgery\, and much more. Children can bring their most loved stuffed toys for a check-up and treatment at the Teddy Bear Clinic. And they can have their faces painted and choose their favourite balloon animal. \nOrganized and run by AVC students\, AVC Open House is one of the largest\, most successful open houses in Atlantic Canada.
