SUMMARY:Trinity United Church to Host Country Legends Show
DESCRIPTION:Trinity United Church located at 90 Spring Street\, Summerside is set host to the Country Legends “Men Of the Century” show Sunday November 17th between 2:00 & 4:00pm. Over the past three years this show has been touring across the Island with shows from Souris to O’Leary and all points in between. This musical tribute pays tribute to some of the great male country music singers of the past 100 years. With a casual\, laid back atmosphere some of the Islands best known musicians portray four of the greatest country music legends of all time. Artists portrayed include; Johnny Cash who is performed by Kendall Docherty\, Merle Haggard performed by Jimi Platts\, Ronnie Milsap performed by Peter Burke and Gene Watson performed by Larry Campbell as well as back up musicians Brian Knox on Drums and Heartz Godkin on Bass Guitar. “This show is highly entertaining\, absolutly wonderful” quoted one guest leaving a recent performace in Charlottetown\, ” a night full of stories and laughs and great music” quoted another. The concert will be serving as a fundraiser for Trinity United Church and their ongoing ministry to the community.
