It is designed to improve the health\, safety\, confidence and competencies of youth through training\, volunteer service and leadership opportunities. Our goal is to assist youth in developing personal life-long health and safety habits and to become confident community leaders. \nThis leadership certificate program prepares youth to assist others in their communities during emergencies and disasters\, and engage them through volunteerism in community projects\, enabling them to develop a greater sense of community. It also provides youth the opportunities to connect with their community and build skills employers are looking for. \nAt the end of the program\, youth leaders will receive a SJA Connect Youth Leadership Certificate\, a First Aid Certificate and diverse leadership skills. Below is a list of sessions included in Level One: \n\nSJA In Canada\nWhy Volunteer\nTeam Building\nConflict Resolution\nCitizenship\n\nThere are three levels of leadership in SJA Connect\, each level offering a diverse set of workshops or projects for youth. \n

The Church is located opposite the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers at 617 Route 258\, New Glasgow.\nAdmission is free but the choir hopes to raise enough money through donations to send a stable full of animals to a World Vision village\, Through World Vision\, it is possible to send farm animals to the world’s neediest children and their families.The gift of animals is a gift that keeps giving year and after year! \nBeautiful music and a fun story of getting ready for Christmas are a great way to begin Christmas celebrations this year! \n
