DESCRIPTION:The Council of the Resort Municipality would like to encourage all property owners\, residents\, business owners/operators and visitors to come out and celebrate Multicultural Community Heritage Day.\nSeptember 4\, 2021 from 11:30am – 2:30 p.m. at the Stewart Homestead Community Park located at the entrance to the Shining Waters Family Fun Park #8885 Cavendish Road. (Follow Avonlea Boulevard to the end) \nActivities Will Include:\nSpeeches from Government Members\nPresentations to Committee Members and Volunteers\nBeautification Awards\, Dr. Kent Ellis Memorial Award\,\nEntertainment\, Old-Fashioned Games and Races\nTrivia for the Adults\, Face Painting\, Treasure Hunt\nPrize Draws\, Pinata\, Barbecue\, Refreshments\, Cake and Ice Cream.\nBased on COVID-19 restrictions\, please note that in-person gatherings are limited. You must register at the municipal office in order to attend in person by phone at 902-963-2698 or by e-mail at resortmunicipal@eastlink.ca \nPlease do not enter the event in person if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough (new or increased chronic)\, congestion\, headache\, body aches\, fever / chills\, runny nose\, sore throat\, loss of taste or smell\, fatigue.\nThis event will be held in accordance with all public health directives regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and any changes to it up to the meeting date will be available at the municipal office and on the municipal website at resortmunicipalitypei.com \nEveryone is Welcome!\nCome Along\, Sit Back Relax and Have a Good Time! \n
