Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. The ancient Romans may also be responsible for the name of our modern day of love. Emperor Claudius II executed two men — both named Valentine — on Feb. 14 of different years in the 3rd century A.D. Their martyrdom was honored by the Catholic Church with the celebration of St. Valentine's Day.

Winsloe Winter Series Ceilidh

Winter Series Ceilidh continue at Winsloe Lions Hall, Campbell Road Monday, Feb 15, 7-9 pm.   Special guests are Terry Dunsford and the husband and wife duo of Kevin and Joanne Blacquiere along with the house band Brian Knox, Heartz Godkin and Judy Lowe.   Admission is at the door which opens at 6:30 pm.   There will be canteen and bar service and a 50/50 draw.  The hall is wheelchair accessible.  Covid restrictions will apply.     To reserve your tickets message Judy Lowe…

Special Event with City Cinema

ADHD PEI is hosting an exciting event with City Cinema. A multi-platform screening of “ADD & Loving it” will kick off our two-week targeted fundraising effort.
