Local volunteers with the MS Society of Canada will be selling carnations at various local stores on Mothers Day weekend from Thursday May 9 to Saturday May 12. This is a major fundraiser for the society, which assists patients such as the 1,000 Islanders who currently have the disease

St. Mark's Presbyterian Church is having its annual Compost Sale on Saturday, May 11th. at 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the church parking lot at the corner of Brackley Point Road and Pine Drive in Charlottetown. Compost will be available by the bag or in bulk. Volunteers will be there to help load the big bags into your vehicle
