The Friends of the Confederation Centre Public Library are having their Spring Book Sale over the following three days and times: Friday, March 29 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday, March 30 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, March 31 from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. The East Coast Art Party is hosting a fun night of painting in support of the QEH/Eastlink Telethon. Create your own unique “Lupin Road” painting! SUCCESS is a 30-hour, weekly employment and education program for Indigenous off-reserve youth aged 18-30. The participants spend 8 weeks in class learning life-skills (budgeting; diet and nutrition; stress management) and employability skills (resume preparation; job interview practice). Then participants spend the next 8 weeks in a work placement gaining valuable experience and developing skills. Participants receive a stipend (minimum wage) during the classroom phase and are paid minimum wage by the employers during the work placement. NCPEI reimburses employers for…
