10th Annual Halloween Hustle 5k Run & 2.5k Walk set for October 28th in Kensington. Registration on the trail by the train station from 9am-9:45am, run/walk starts at 10am. $10 each ($2 12yrs & under). This family fun event is an out and back on the trail heading west. 100% of the proceeds will create a one-time scholarship for grade 12 KISH students. Christmas Craft Fair @ the New London Community Complex, 10227 Rte 6, New London Sun, Nov 5, 10-3. Admission $2, kids free. Over 50 vendors. Baked goods available!

Warm Winter Clothing Drive, Saturday November 18th at 465 University Ave. Superstore (behind Burger King) We will be collecting gently used winter clothing , which will be donated to the Food Bank. We all have that jacket or hat we do not wear so why not donate to help keep all Islanders warm this winter season.

Wheatley River Craft Fair Nov 18th from 9-3:30. Lots of different vendors with a variety of items from Preserves, knits, wood working, sweets, crafts, rugs, wreaths, greenery and more. Admission is just $2 plus 50/50 and a portion of the money goes back to the community hall.

Stratford Elementary & Glen Stewart School Craft Fair Fri Nov 24 - 4pm-9pm & Sat Nov 25th - 9am-4pm Located at 50 Glen Stewart Drive Admission is $3.00, children 12 and under are free 100 vendors to visit- food, mittens, homemade signs, candles, soaps, etc. All monies raised are split equally between the 2 schools.
