Hospice PEI is participating in the 15th Annual Hike for Hospice Palliative Care which will be held on Sunday, May 7th, 2017. There will be hundreds of sites across Canada taking part in this fund raiser to kick off Hospice Palliative Care Week. The PEI Hike will be held in Summerside. Registration will take place at the Shipyard Market on Water Street at 1:30pm. Registration fee is $20. The Hike will start at 2:00 and will follow the Summerside Boardwalk.…

Ceilidh Monday May 8th 2017 at Winsloe United Church starting at 7:30 will be hosted by Larry Campbell and joining him on stage will be the original singer of the Blue Crystals, Dave Altas along with fiddler Matthew Reid accompanied by Carl Curley. Music PEI Week has been a celebration of Island musical and media achievements since 2002. Traditionally held in January, in 2015 the annual awards and showcases were moved to May and rebranded as the May Run Music Festival and Canadian Song Conference. The spring clean up at Murchison Place Park in Clyde River will be held on Sat. May 13 at 9:00 am, rain date May 19. The Park is located at the corner of the TransCanada and the Clyde River Rd.. Tribute to Mother’s Day Ceilidh for the Murray River Ceilidhs in support of the QEH/Eastlink Telethon is Saturday, May 13, 2017. The second of three concerts in support of the twenty first anniversary of the QEH/Eastlink Telethon, will be Saturday, May 13 as part of the Murray River Ceilidh 2017 Campaign, The event starts at 7: pm at the Murray River Hall.
